Financial Accountant

Location: Northern Tasmania
Role Overview: As a Financial Accountant, you'll manage financial closings, prepare statements, ensure compliance, and provide key insights to support growth. In this healthcare business, you can make a difference to people's lives, sit in a rewarding seat which you can make an impact!
Key Responsibilities: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. Support the CFO in preparing financial statements and reports. Handle BAS, FBT, and GST returns; liaise with tax specialists. Conduct financial analysis and reporting. Manage accounts payable/receivable, process invoices and payments, and oversee payroll. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations. Requirements: CPA/CA qualified with 3+ years of experience, preferably from Big 4/Mid-Tier firms. Strong expertise in financial controls, auditing, tax compliance, and reporting. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data. Proficiency in XERO or similar software is a plus. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks independently. Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits.
