We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Team. Key Duties will include:
Ensure the timely completion of month-end and year-end financial statement preparation with commentaries for the group.
Responsible for payroll processing, journals and recs
Responsible for balance sheet rec including bank rec.
Prepare weekly cash flow and forecast cash flow.
Preparation and lodgment of BAS, FBT, PAYG tax and Superannuation submission.
Manage Fixed Asset.
Manage Accounts Payable (2 direct reports)
Support external tax accountant on all tax matters.
Monitor trade facilities and banking matters.
Reconcile intercompany transactions.
Responsible for managing Credit card and Insurance matters.
Assist budgeting and forecasting.
Support in system integration and be the go-to person.
Support CFO and managers in various analytics and projects.
Requirements We are seeking a candidate who:
Has a Bachelor of accounting or CPA /CA qualified.
Has previous experience in a similar role.
Savy in Microsoft office and experience in ERP.
Has strong payroll processing and related accounting principles.
Previous experience within Manufacturing, Project-based accounting, Pronto, Xero, MYOB payroll and Cognos BI is highly desirable.
