Financial Accountant - Financial Services (Permanent)

Financial Services start up is looking to appoint an energetic and high-performing Financial Accountant on a permanent basis 5 days/week in their Sydney head office.Core work will include:Ensure all month end journals are posted timely and accuratelyEnsure monthly reconciliations are completed and reconciling items are actioned timely and accuratelyManage and deliver the monthly management report with commentary timely and accuratelyTax Compliance (FBT, GST, BAS)AP/AR & PayrollLead the review and delivery of monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and Board packs in accordance to strict deadlinesEnsure the business is compliant with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. ASIC, ASX reportingProvide assistance for the Half year, Annual report and AuditTo be successful in this role, you will possess:3+ years of financial accounting experience in Financial ServicesCA/CPA QualifiedTax Compliance (e.g., BAS, GST, FBT) experienceMonth-end close, Financial Statement preparation, Cashflow forecasting, AP/AR, Payroll experienceAbility to work independentlyAbility to effectively work with and influence non-finance stakeholdersFull Australian working rights & fluent English skills
