Financial Accountant - Contract

The Position 
Reporting to the Head of Finance, we are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Accountant to join a fun, high performing Finance Team. In this role, you will support monthly board reporting, manage end-of-month close, ensure payroll tax and fringe benefits tax compliance, handle superannuation compliance, assist with annual budget preparation, and uphold general accounting standards. This is a 14-month Fixed Term Contract, covering a period of parental leave.

  
Skills and Experience Previous experience as an Accountant, CPA or CA qualification preferred; Ability to collaborate within a team, sharing knowledge and skills; Strong attention to detail, with analytical and critical thinking capabilities; Effective communication skills; Proficiency in Excel; and A collaborative and pragmatic approach.
