Reporting into the GM – Group Finance, you will work closely with the business units to harmonise finance processes and systems as we look to consolidate our ERP platforms.Whilst this will initially be a 12 month contract role, there is a view for a permanent role in the future as we continue on our growth agenda.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour key priority areas will include, but not limited to:Standardising labour/job costing model for the Group.Documenting and defining revenue recognition processes across all of Service Stream's key contracts.Alignment of reporting hierarchies in TM1.Cash flow forecasting and reporting – introducing a standardised model for cash flow reporting and forecasting.Establishing enhanced governance and controls across our key balance sheet accounts.Streamlining month-end close processes.Working with the business in bridging the Finance transformation plan to incorporate Group reporting needs whilst working to understand the reporting and management information requirements.About YouWe are looking for a leader with resolve and strong experience gained in financial systems, accounting and control to help us navigate through the complexities of managing an ERP integration, process changes and organisation restructures.
Our ideal candidate will have:Tertiary Qualification in Business, Commerce or Accounting, with either a CA or CPA qualification.Extensive experience in financial accounting, preferably gained within a large, public company, and various systems (SAP, Oracle, IFS, TM1).Prior experience in being part of an ERP implementation and/or merger or acquisition would be highly desirable.High level analytical skills including use of analysis software e.g., Excel, BI, Power BI or equivalent system.Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
