Finance Systems Manager , the primary responsibilities include managing the system administration, support and training model of the business's finance system TechnologyOne, overseeing and implementing new finance related modules within the TechnologyOne suite of products, assisting with other financial related software implementations, managing the interface and alignment with other business systems, and adding value to the organisation by effectively leveraging the potential of the finance system.This position reports to the Director, Financial Services, and is responsible for managing two staff presently in system support roles.This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity based primarily at Mount Gravatt Campus, however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Finance Systems team, ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient services to TAFE Queensland and its subsidiaries.Manage, and provide high level technical support for, the administration of the finance system, including structural design and maintenance of the security structure.Manage the technical infrastructure of the TechnologyOne Finance System, including liaising with TechnologyOne to ensure all finance system support is met.Manage the interface and alignment of the finance system with other systems, including human resource & payroll, identity, business intelligence, accounts payable automation and the student management system.Manage monthly, annual and other ad hoc system processes, including month/year end and budget/forecast processes.Develop and enact policies and procedures for finance system change management, user access and financial data security.Provide expert advice to the CFO Leadership Team and other stakeholders to enable implementation of seamless finance and related processes that leverage system functionality (existing and future) to achieve optimal results.Lead continuous improvement by actively reviewing the latest system capabilities, promoting areas where the product can add value to the business.How you will be assessedExpert knowledge of the core TechnologyOne Financials (or comparable system) and associated systems and processes.Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of finance related functions, procedures and processes.Demonstrated strong leadership and team management capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.Mandatory Qualifications/RequirementsA minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role including previous experience in the support and maintenance of finance systems and reporting tools (preferably TechnologyOne Financials).Experience in the implementation of a large scale financial system is highly regarded.Education and training industry experience is desirable.How to applyIf you're interested in this role, click the ' Apply ' button to submit your application via the TAFE Queensland Recruitment Portal.
