Financial Project Manager - 6-month contract - Immediate start - State GovernmentYour new companyHays Accountancy & Finance are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Financial Project Manager, to join a large State Government Department based in Perth CBD.Your new roleYour new role will be to launch and manage the new E-invoicing Project that has begun throughout WA State Government Departments.Lead and manage the implementation of e-invoicing projects from inception to completion.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and compliance with regulatory requirements.Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure all e-invoicing processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with industry standards.Provide training and support to internal teams on e-invoicing systems and processes.Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.What you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in project management, particularly in finance or e-invoicing projects.Strong understanding of e-invoicing regulations and standards.Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.What you'll get in returnCompetitive hourly rate6-month contract with possibility of extensionOpportunity to work within a talented teamA supportive and inclusive work environmentWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
