Who we are: The Net Zero Economy Agency (NZEA/the Agency) is an Executive Agency within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C). Established on 1 July 2023, the Agency is focused on promoting orderly and positive economic transformation as the world decarbonises, to ensure Australia, its regions and workers realise and share the benefits of the net zero economy.
The Corporate Strategy and Services Branch plays an integral role providing strategic and operational workforce and corporate services, to ensure efficient and effective operations of the Agency. The initial focus of the Branch is developing all of the corporate frameworks, systems and policies to enable the Authority to stand-up and operate as a separate entity.
What you will do: We are seeking an experienced APS 5 Finance Officer to join the Finance Team within the Corporate Strategy and Services Branch. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Financial Accounting and Operations, the APS 5 Finance Officer will be responsible for accounts processing, credit card administration and travel and expense management.
