Finance Officer

Job Summary
The Finance Officer will support the Head of Finance in maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and the school's financial policies. The role will involve managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, and serving as the first point of contact for finance-related queries from students, staff, and external stakeholders.
Duties Financial Transaction Management Financial Support and Reconciliation Administrative and General Support Qualifications Essential A good standard of education (minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent) High level of computer literacy and demonstrable ability to make use of the technology available, including Microsoft Word and Excel Experience of processing bank reconciliation and payment runs Desired Professional financial qualification Considerable experience working in a finance office Experience processing invoices and purchase orders Experience of using financial management software Experience working in a school environment Experience in conducting financial reporting If you are passionate about finance and looking for an opportunity to contribute to our organisation's success, we encourage you to apply for this exciting position as a Finance Officer.
