Finance Officer

We are seeking a Finance Officer with strong finance and bookkeeping administration skills to join our client's finance team.In this role, you will be responsible for managing key financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. Your attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities will be essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Daily logging and maintaining invoices and claims.Managing accounts payable/receivable and monitoring financial transactions.Preparing payment files and reconciling bank statements.Supporting project administrators and handling subcontractor/supplier liaison.Payroll processing for all staff, including monthly obligations.Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and EOM reports.Assisting with month/year-end closing, statutory reporting, and ad-hoc tasks.Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.Experience with MYOB (essential) and construction software (desirable).Excellent attention to detail and intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel focus).Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.A mature, autonomous work style, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.If you have experience in accounting and taxation processes, and you're ready to contribute to a growing organisation, please apply above, or for a confidential discussion about the role, please reach out to Max at ****** or 0407 264 ***.
