About the role: If you are looking for the "out of the ordinary" finance role and looking for a position that will challenge you, further developing your finance skills and experience, well this may be the role you need to apply for.
The Finance Officer provides end to end AP/AR services to ensure effective and accurate financial operations.
In addition, the Finance Officer will be an integral support to the Financial Controller and Finance Manager across a range of financial/accounting tasks including but not limited to purchase orders, data entry, coding, payments, reconciliations and reporting.
The key responsibilities for this role: Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for a portfolio of entities including purchase order matching, invoice processing, payments to suppliers, supplier statement reconciliations and customer and vendor management.
Create, manage and reconcile inter-entity charges.
Complete end of month requirements for external accountant including bank and credit card reconciliations, equipment finance loan journals and stock reconciliations.
Prepare and review monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Assist with management of charges and processing of invoices for jobs in progress.
Liaise with directors and external accountant to provide reporting and support as required.
About You: You must be able to work dynamically and across multiple entities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Selection Criteria: Minimum of 2 - 3 full-time years demonstrated working experience in a finance position within a large organisation, specifically AP/AR.
Advanced computer literacy, in particular MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting packages including MYOB, Xero, MS Dynamics 365.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
