Finance Manager, Investment Administration

NSW State Government $550 - $575 per day + Super Parramatta | WFH 28/06/2024 to 13/01/2025 Ensuring client's financial assets are held and managed by industry best practices and associated accounting and investment services, managing the cash flow, dealing with Audit queries, preparing financial statements and lead the team
About the Role
- Deliver unit registry, fund accounting, financial accounting, distribution review, trade administration services, and cash flow projections ensuring timely and accurate records, secure funds, and client entitlements - Manage relationships and lead negotiations with outsourced service providers to ensure performance levels - Support the Senior Manager, and enable the Independent Investment Advisory Committee to advise the CEO on fund investments and corporate funds. I meet all committee charter requirements Facilitate meetings, and support financial reporting and audits for the company's Common Funds - Lead the Investment Administration team, focusing on quality, consistency, timeliness, and a customer-centric culture within budget and compliance standards. Skills & Experience
• CA and/or CPA qualification and membership
• Comprehensive experience in managing the recording, processing, analysis, and reconciliation of financial transactions for managed funds in a large volume, complex, client-focused and diverse environment
• Previous financial reporting and accounting experience, demonstrated experience using SAP
