Finance Manager

We have partnered with a progressive and dynamic primary production organisation based in North Qld inland from Cairns who are seeking a finance leader to join the business and lead the finance function.

Reporting to the managing director, you will take a lead in financial performance reporting and compliance.
Duties will include: Monthly balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain Fixed Asset Registers and Depreciation schedulesManage monthly Cashflow/Budgets and report to the directorReview, develop and improve existing finance policiesWork with Farm Managers and other stakeholders to improve and address financial systems.Management of annual budgets, P&L's, balance sheet, cashflow and critical numbers pertaining to business specifics and various entitiesProvide advice in relation to financial performance, budgeting, financial position, reporting and future cash flow requirementsWork closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement the company's financial strategic plan to support the company's growthProducing budgets for end of year reporting and detailed reviews of AssetsPayroll Processing and associated payroll tasks, PAYG & GST reportingIdeally, you will be CA/CPA qualified with proven experience leading a finance function and supporting business owners with business insights.
This role is site-based with accommodation provided, which is suitable for a family.
The local region offers easy access to schools and local facilities in a rural location.
