Established over 30 years ago, Coerco is a successful manufacturer of high quality polyethylene products to the Agriculture and Mining industries, with headquarters in Dalwallinu, WA and offices across the region. It has experienced exponential success since inception, with both organic and acquisitive growth, and is now embarking on an exciting new phase in the company's history. As such, it is looking for a highly motivated Finance Manager to be an intrinsic part of the Finance team.Scope of DutiesReporting into the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager will be responsible for accuracy and completeness of all financial reporting for Coerco Group, including defining and analysing all product and market costings. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for the accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, payroll, and accounting functions, and for providing commercial and financial analysis to support the business in delivering its operational business plans, including financial forecasting, budgets, and tender analysis.Responsibilities:The Finance Manager will have overall responsibility for the Finance function, with a broad and varied role. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Managing the finance and accounting team, reporting to the CFOPreparation of all financial results and insights for the Senior Management TeamDefining and analysing all product and market costings, including variance analysis and actionable insights to maximise operational effectivenessProvide commercial and financial analysis to support the business in delivering its operational business plans, including: Input to business strategy formulation, financial forecasts and budget, tender, margin, and pricing analysis, KPI monitoring and reporting and investment appraisal and analysisPartner with the business to establish and develop key strategic drivers and other planning assumptions that support the forecast and budget processesAdvising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costsManaging and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organisationOverseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate controlsManaging external auditor relationship and ensuring compliance with accounting standardsSupport the company's banking and borrowing arrangementsManaging and overseeing the company's financial systemsRisk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in placeReviewing the finance function and related procedures to make best practice improvementsOther finance and management duties as requiredRequired Skills / Experience / Qualifications10+ years' experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven track recordBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPASound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analysesResults oriented and metrics drivenExceptional time management and able to solve problemsExceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levelsStrong sense of integrity, ethics and dependabilityProfessional written and oral communication skillsConfident to present results to an audienceStrategic thinking, planning and creative problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to collaborate with senior management to organize, plan and achieve company financial goalsAdvanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software
