Experienced Finance Manager needed, Maryborough Based, Full-Time, $100,000+ Super, Excellent Opportunity

Hays Recruitment have partnered with a well-known Aged Care provider in the Maryborough region, they are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to the team to assist with the day-to-day duties of the finance team, this is a full-time position offering potential career growth for high performing individuals.
Your new role
As an experienced Finance Manager, your day-to-day duties will include, but not limited to the following:
All finance reconciliations - general ledger, bank, and other as required Preparation of monthly reporting requirements Assisting with annual financial audit Preparation of fixed assets register Completion of monthly BAS returns Full function accounts receivable for residential aged care accounts and independent living units accounts Prepare and issue invoices and statements in a timely manner Ensure all debts are collected in a timely manner Reconcile Medicare payment summaries and make any necessary adjustments As required, provide break and leave relief coverage for finance staff Contribute to the development and implementation of improvement projects Ensure compliance with Privacy legislation and personal information confidentiality requirements Create, maintain and foster a safe work environment Maintain professional expertise and performance What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor of Accounting Hold or working towards CPA/CA Capable of completing a Police Check Capable of providing two high level references, one within the past 12 months of employment Demonstrated experience in all aspects of financial management of a company, preferably in an aged care facility Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of contemporary accounting processes and requirements Excellent time management, analytical and issues resolution skills Experience in MS Office products, in particular intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel would be desirable Maintain a high level of resilience and emotional agility Highly developed verbal and written communication skills What you'll get in return
