The Role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working closely with business stakeholders, you will be the Finance Manager for one of the most important Group businesses, managing one direct report. Your duties will include but not be limited to
Business partner to a major Group business to help drive business initiatives and efficienciesPerform month end accounting processes including journal entries, accrual calculations and trial balance analysis, within the required timeframesPerform balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany loan accountsPrepare reports for management including sales, and budget analysisAssist the Group Financial Controller in implementing rolling forecasts and improving process and system improvements within financeProvide mentoring to others both in finance and in your Group Portfolio businesses as a senior member of the finance team.Provide finance support to other companies within the group as directed by the Group Financial ControllerAssist with year end audit and statutory requirementsAssist with acquisitions and their subsequent integration About You They are seeking your strong interpersonal skills and your attitude to want to develop and make a positive impact. Skills & Experience An experienced Accountant with strong financial acumen and a commercial mindsetAn ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data and effectively partner and advise non-financial stakeholdersStrong Excel skillsBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
