Due to internal growth, our client is seeking a Finance Manager to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and lead a highly competent and motivated team.As the Finance Manager, you will oversee all financial reporting and compliance, provide business support to a range of stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement projects across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading the annual statutory reporting and compliance process.Preparing monthly management accounts with detailed commentary.Leading the annual budgeting process and the monthly forecasting process.Overseeing tax compliance, cashflow management, insurance renewals, and asset registers.Working with the Executive Leadership Team to develop KPI reporting and ad-hoc analysis.Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team.Continuously improving financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Key RequirementsThe ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, or a related field, along with a completed professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA). Previous experience in professional services (accounting, engineering, legal) is highly advantageous.You will have a solid understanding of Australian tax laws and compliance, along with the ability to manage key finance functions such as statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.As a proactive problem solver, you will engage effectively with stakeholders, providing commercial recommendations based on sound financial analysis.
