Use your skills and experience to lead the delivery of a high-quality finance function for large scale residential operation.
Position overview The Residential Finance team is responsible for managing the financial operations of the University's student accommodation, which comprises 10 ANU residences and 4 Uni Lodge-managed residences with a combined total of around 6,500 beds.
The Finance Manager works in close collaboration with executive staff in the Residential Experience Division to ensure the Residential Finance team appropriately support the strategy and objectives of that division.
The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the finance team, with a particular focus on the accuracy of financial transactions, integrity of financial data and reports, and continual improvement of financial controls and processes.
The Finance manager also plays a role in ensuring non-finance staff within the residences are appropriately trained to perform financial activities that fall within their responsibility.
The Residential Finance team has navigated a period of significant change in recent months, including an expansion of responsibilities and a move to a central finance division at the University.
The successful applicant must possess the skills to manage a team to deliver outcomes in a complex and continually evolving environment.
