Finance Manager (Contract - Possibility Permanent)Position Description: Finance Manager (Contract)Location: Annerley, South of BrisbaneEmployment Type: Temporary Contract (potential for permanent)Organization Type: Not-for-ProfitHourly rate: $60Position Overview:The Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization. This position requires a strategic and operational finance leader to manage accounts, ensure compliance, and support the organization's mission through effective financial management.Key Responsibilities:Financial Management:- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.- Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with accounting standards.Reporting and Compliance:- Prepare timely financial reports for the board and key stakeholders, providing insights into financial performance.- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements for the not-for-profit sector.- Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.Budgeting and Forecasting:- Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor ongoing financial performance against the budget.- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.Team Leadership:- Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.- Provide training and support to non-financial staff on financial policies and procedures.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent qualification preferred).- Proven experience in a finance management role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.Availability:ASAPAt Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
