You'll oversee financial, payroll, and governance functions, supported by an experienced management team and a motivated accounts department.Key Responsibilities:Manage financial operations, ensuring company policies, accounting standards, and tax obligations are met.Contribute to the budgeting process to support continued growth.Oversee payroll, ensuring timely and compliant payments to employees.Review and analyze monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow against budgets and forecasts.Lead and manage a small accounts team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts and payroll.Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.Prepare and present management reports, offering financial insights to senior management.Participate in management meetings, providing variance reporting and strategic insights.Continuously improve financial reporting processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.Your Background:Proven experience in managing financial operations and accounting functions.A minimum of 3 years in a similar role.Experience with accounting software (Accentis or equivalent).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experienced in BAS preparation and lodgement.Solid understanding of compliance, accounting, tax, and labor laws.A manufacturing background is highly desirable but not essential.What's on Offer:A competitive salary package will be negotiated based on your experience.
