Finance Business Partner – Projects & Cost ControlWe are partnered with a leading civil construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across Australia who are seeking a proactive and skilled Finance Business Partner to join their team, supporting an ambitious pipeline of civil construction projects.
Role Overview:As the Finance Business Partner - Projects, you will play a crucial role in providing financial expertise and strategic support to project managers across our portfolio of civil construction projects.
Your operational focus will enable you to influence decision-making and drive financial performance, ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining strict cost control.
Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial Management: Oversee project accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Collaborate with project teams to maintain financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle.Management Reporting: Prepare comprehensive management reports that provide insights into project performance, profitability, and financial health.Work closely with project managers to analyse financial data and support informed decision-making.Cost Control: Implement and monitor cost control processes to ensure projects remain within budget.Conduct regular financial reviews with project managers to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.Collaboration: Partner with project managers to understand project requirements, financial implications, and resource allocation.Facilitate effective communication between finance and project teams to foster a collaborative working environment.Qualifications:Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred;Proven experience in a finance business partner role;Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present insights to stakeholders;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with project managers and cross-functional teams.For more information please call Dharan Chond at u&u on 07 3232 9115, quoting reference number 39326.
