Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting) Full time AUD 140000 - 160000 per annum, + Superannuation Successful private manufacturing Group with operations across Western Australia and expanding in the eastern states is looking for an experienced finance professional to partner with Operations and the Senior Leadership Team.
Reporting directly to the General Manager Finance, this is a newly created opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to showcase their accounting and finance, commercial and analytical skills in a highly visible value adding role.
Key Responsibilities Primary accountability over Group P&L's and budget, understanding the drivers of P&L growth and ability to influence commercial outcomes with key Operations stakeholders and deliver cost excellence.
Support the Senior Leadership Team by providing relevant financial insights and analysis on a periodic and ad-hoc basis as required.
Partner with the Sales and Operations teams in developing plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Cash flow and treasury management in support of the Group's banking and borrowing arrangements.
Product profitability review by conducting cost, sales and margin analysis of existing products and implementing Business Intelligence software to drive business analytics and data visualisation for improved decision making.
Advise Operations and implement best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Provide financial modelling and business case support for new projects and potential acquisition activities.
Produce costing and analysis of new product lines.
Assist with new business tendering and conduct margin and pricing analysis.
Drive continuous improvements and maintain internal control excellence in key financial processes.
Provide mentoring and coaching to a team of transactional staff to ensure timely and accurate compliance with financial control policies and processes.
Drive improvements to the Group's financial systems.
Key Requirements CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent).
5+ years post qualified experience.
Recent and hands-on experience in a similar role.
Highly effective communication skills and experience working with Operations and stakeholders at an Executive level.
Previous manufacturing experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Previous leadership in the rollout of new finance software and initiating process improvements.
Proven track record of adding financial and commercial value.
Advanced MS Excel and BI software skills.
