Randstad is currently a preferred partner with a reputable public sector client to recruit for the below role:Role: Finance Business PartnerLocation: South Eastern SuburbsContract: 6 week contractHourly Rate: $48.40 per hour + superStart Date: ASAPReporting to the Budgeting and Reporting Team Leader, you will provide high-level financial expertise to produce monthly reports, provide strategic support, and manage investment portfolios to help meet organisational goals.Key Responsibilities:Produce and analyse monthly management financial reports, supporting variance analysisCoordinate month-end processes, ensuring all reporting deadlines are metManage Council's investment portfolio according to policy, optimising returnsSupport the development of innovative reporting methods and system enhancementsPrepare financial reports for senior management, offering clear insights and analysisServe as a key contact for departmental managers, fostering effective relationshipsEssential Qualifications and Skills:CPA or equivalent accounting qualification3-5 years' experience in financial/management accounting, ideally in a customer service-oriented roleAdvanced Excel skills, with experience in large data analysisProficiency in Technology One and strong technical accounting skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesInterested?
