As we continue to advance our project and drive our mission forward, we are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Finance & Corporate Services team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in providing accounting services and supporting informed business decisions to drive the delivery of our strategic objectives. You will act as a key point of contact for finance-related activities, including operational support in transactional areas, financial analysis, business planning and budgeting, and ensuring robust financial management and customer service.

Parental Leave cover for 12 months, based in Melbourne or Hobart Opportunity to grow your skills and experience on a nationally significant project Mentorship and support from experienced leaders Flexible working supported & health and wellbeing benefits Your Role Finance Partnering: Act as the primary contact for finance-related activities within the Marinus project, including financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and providing key insights and commentary on business unit performance. Customer Service & Decision Support: Deliver excellent customer service and commercial decision support, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to drive business performance and outcomes. Management Accounting: Provide management accounting services including completion of month-end processes and reconciliations. Operational Support: Support the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions. Data Analysis & Insights: Provide data analytics, financial and commercial analysis to support business decisions and continuous improvement. You'll Need Experience: Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial analysis and management accounting services. Experience in regulated environments or utilities is advantageous. Qualifications: A degree in Commerce, Business or Accounting, with relevant professional experience and competence. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to build relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic and changing project environment and able to proactively problem-solve and apply analytical and critical thinking skills. Attention to Detail: Highly developed attention to detail with the ability to accurately analyse and interpret financial data. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to foster teamwork and collaboration while managing multiple priorities effectively.
