This role demands exceptional leadership and consultancy skills, as well as the capability to handle complex and specialized tasks that are integral to University operations.In this role you will:Build professional advisory relationships with University executives and managers, offering expert financial advice and insights.Provide ongoing expert guidance on financial and resource management matters.Engage in discussions on new business initiatives, conduct value-adding analysis, and contribute to operational and strategic plans.Collaborate with Element managers to create annual budgets, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and University policies.Develop business cases and financial modelling, assessing their viability.QualificationsTo be successful, you will possess:Degree qualified with substantial work-related experience. You will preferably hold a professional accounting qualification through an accredited body (CPA/CA).Strong experience in financial analysis is required, alongside the ability to synthesise both financial and non-financial information. Experience with financial modelling is also highly desirable.Extensive business partnering or similar experience is highly desirable, as is experience within the higher education sector.High level communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, together with the ability to effectively liaise across all levels of a diverse organisation.What we can offerThere are two full-time, continuing positions available with a hybrid working environment. Any onsite workdays will be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan or Gold Coast campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.Salary rangeThe full-time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 8 range $110,939 - $124,803 per annum + 17% superannuation.
