We've recently raised our $10M Series A led by Australia's largest VC firm, Blackbird Ventures and we have an ambitious global go-to-market strategy starting with the US and the UK. Therefore we're hiring a Finance & BizOps Lead as a confidant to our founders to supercharge our finance operations to help us build AI tools that clinicians can't live without. Reporting to the CFO/Founder you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and building the function from the ground up. You must be a self confessed Finance and Business Operations geek with a strong financial accounting background and a keen understanding of commercial operations. As well as leading all financial controlling efforts you will also ensure our business operations are scalable and running smoothly. You could also think of the role as Chief of Staff-esqe with a strong financial lens.

What you'll do: Be the Founders right-hand ninja, providing support to free up their time by tackling everything from scheduling chaos to handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Assist in turning the company's vision into reality by supporting strategic planning efforts, helping create board decks, investor updates, and reporting materials for capital raise activities.
Act as a bridge between founders and the broader team, ensuring key information is effectively communicated across all teams bringing everyone on the journey together
Refine the company's financial strategy, driving capital efficiency aligning with overall goals and growth objectives
Lead the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, reporting and long-term financial plans, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial projections.
Ensure all regulatory, tax, R&D, and audit compliance business requirements are fulfilled
Provide financial analysis and support decision making around unit economics, pricing, and key contracts. Also in new products, markets, special projects, hiring plans, and other initiatives
Drive operational excellence and establish operating rhythm across the business, ensuring we are communicating our vision and hitting our company wide goals.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial and operational insights that drive decision-making, resource allocation, and performance improvements.
Ensure the right financial and operational systems and processes are in place to meet the internal and external demands of scaling
What we'll look for: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
Proven experience (3+ years) in financial or basic accounting, preferably within high-growth startups.
Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving impactful business decisions.
Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Experience in operational excellence, scaling systems and processes which drive efficiency
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership experience, with a values-aligned approach, empathy, and the ability to build trust and rapport across teams.
Proficiency in financial software, tools, and accounting systems; advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
