Your new company Hays are working directly with an organisation in Tamworth who are looking for a Finance Administrator to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
Your new role Providing support within the finance department ensuring its efficiency in all areas for UK & Ireland. The finance assistant is responsible for the day-to-day tasks in a financial department supporting the wider teams. They are responsible for the fleet administration and general purchase ordering of stock items.
Responsibilities include: Processing purchase invoices accuratelySupplier statement reconciliationsReviewing general ledger codes to ensure accuracySupporting credit control activities & providing information to support cash flow forecastingOverseeing expensesReviewing of expensesReviewing and reconciling CIS subcontractors (payments, returns)Assisting with preparing Year-end audit files, ensuring all information and supporting documents are electronically available, in accordance with the agreed timeframeAssisting others in the Finance Team with any other duties as required, including the upkeep of electronic filingPromoting and advocating continuous learningDocumenting & maintaining current processes and proceduresAny other ad-hoc duties What you'll need to succeed High attention to detailAbility to prioritise a heavy workloadAbility to follow company policiesGood Excel skillsDemonstrate flexibilityAbility to build relationships with both internal & external stakeholdersProblem-solving skillsMotivated team player with good interpersonal skills and a strong desire to support the team in meeting the organisation's objectives What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
