The Rugless Family Retail Group is a group consisting of 4 Supermarkets & 1 Liquor store.
We are locally owned and an independent family run retail group, with a high focus on customer service & quality products.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Finance and Office Manager will assist with general financial operations of the company by applying specialist skills within the area required, which include, but are not limited to: monthly management accounting, accounts receivable & payable, payroll, day to day banking and statutory obligations.
Whilst being a hands on role, you'll also be responsible for managing a small team of 6 to 8 employees.

Working within our leadership team at head office, you will champion and actively contribute to our organisations values & culture.

Key responsibilities: Lead end of month processes, engaging with our external accountants as required Ability to manage multiple complex and competing priorities with an eye for detail Microsoft is essential, especially Excel Managing a team Payroll experience essential, with an understanding of awards Accounts payable/receivable Support the ongoing improvement in operations including technology systems & processes Journal entry, general ledger & bank reconciliations Preparing & lodging BAS Holding a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Administration will be seen as favourable.

To succeed in this role the applicant will have a can do attitude and understand how to lead a team while implementing effective change.
