Key responsibilities/What you do The Finance Director (FD) is responsible for the governance of multiple legal entities and has a cross LoB responsibility in Allianz Partners' matrix working environment (except H&L, that will be unique LoB).
The ultimate goal of this role is to perform governance and ensure that all Financial processes across all legal entities under their responsibility are compliant with all internal and external stakeholder's requirements related to the functions they are accountable for (i.e., Accounting & Reporting, Planning & Controlling, Capital & Liquidity Management, Tax, Actuarial, Legal and Compliance, Risk, DTP).
For internal requirements, the FD works closely with the functions and the LoB CFOs to ensure that all outputs are fair, accurate, and complete, and that the processes are exercised with diligence and consistency.
The FD actively supports the development and implementation of the Transformation of Allianz Partners, according to the strategy of the group (e.g., ACM roll-out).
The FD encourages and facilitates continuing education and engagement of the team members.For external requirements, the FD is locally responsible and coordinates the ultimate relationship with all statutory and regulatory bodies (e.g., tax authorities, external auditors, regulators).
The FD acts as a counterparty for financial matters with local Business Partners where it could be reasonably expected under their respective duties.
They are responsible for delivering a complete and faithful representation of financial disclosures to external stakeholders, when needed under business requirements; they act with reasonable care and exercise prudent judgment in ensuring the mitigation of the risks under the governance principles (i.e., escalated complaints, Data Privacy breaches, accounting errors).
They facilitate and support effectively the strategy of the group in acting proactively in eventual investments processes (i.e., M&A). The FD is a Finance expert who acts as a solid and strategic business partner to senior management: The FD facilitates regional, local CEOs, and LoB CFOs to have a fair and comprehensive overview of the business performances of the entities under their responsibility and gives reasonable judgments in identifying relevant factors which are important to their analysis and actions.
The FD shows a business-driven mindset with analytical skills, diplomatic behavior, and solid cultural background, who communicates effectively in a plain and comprehensive manner towards the management of the company and the team members they are responsible for.
They are able to make a concrete impact in the organization, identifying with Allianz Partners' legacy and acting as a change agent, driving the transformation step by step while being flexible and innovative in finding solutions.

Key requirements/What you bring Support implementation of Group initiatives at legal entity level, and support and locally drive transformation in all aspects.Ensure, together with the accounting & reporting function, that all periodic financial reporting is disclosed in accordance with group internal deadlines and regulatory requirements, under local & IFRS GAAP and tax and legal requirements.Ensure, with the accounting & reporting function and tax advisors, the correctness of the delivery and the timely submission of tax returns (e.g., IPT, CIT, VAT), implementing the best tax strategy across legal entities to enhance the value of the company.Ensure the development, maintenance, and respect of internal controls and financial procedures.Responsible for monitoring financial performance and ensuring disclosure of solid financial statements, both P&L and BS items.Proactively identify and assess business opportunities and risks and offer recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.Ensure that requests and delivery to external auditors are managed timely and with accuracy.Be an active part of the Finance community to shape and execute Finance strategy locally.Implement, maintain, and improve liquidity and capital management of the local entities (incl.
FX exposure management and timely payment toward Allianz Partners' holding).Ensure a timely and proper execution of internal audits & closure of related findings, developing relevant controls, rules, and guidelines to enhance governance and mitigate risks.Ensure that all the functions live the TOM blue-book.Encourage and facilitate continuing education and create a OneTeam culture, encouraging engagement of members while acting as a benchmark.
