Finance Advisor

In the role of the Finance Advisor, you will be accountable for providing timely and professional financial management services to our key stakeholder base (Corporate Division branches and Director-General projects) for financial reporting, processing and advice.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and coordinate the monthly financial reporting for branch operations, ensuring accurate journal entries, prepayments, month-end accruals, assets, and accounts management. Tackle accounting and financial issues with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the reliability of financial data through robust analysis and stakeholder collaboration. Conduct financial reconciliations, proactively implement corrective measures and recommend procedural enhancements to uphold data integrity. Assist meticulously in the crafting, aggregation and analysis of budget proposals, iterative reviews, and predictive forecasting. Uphold and expand your financial management expertise, providing impeccable advice in line with legislative requirements, accounting standards, and governmental policy. Role Requirements: You possess the acuity to dissect complex information critically and have the resolve to make informed decisions, even under duress, while knowing when to escalate pertinent issues. Your communication style is clear, purposeful, and adaptable, facilitating strong connections with diverse stakeholder groups and offering timely, expert advice while earnestly seeking to comprehend the needs of others. You will contribute to team objectives, embracing challenges, and demonstrating tenacity when facing hurdles; organisational skills ensure you plan effectively to generate desired outcomes. You will bring in-depth understanding of accounting principles and frameworks, to be applied within Departmental proceedings. Your experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel will be valuable in managing financial operations smoothly.
