The role We currently have an exciting and varied opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join our team in Sydney.
Reporting to the Matter Management Team Leader, this role will be responsible for file maintenance related tasks, such as compliance of cost agreements, managing audit comfort reports, billing (including ebilling), and coverage for the Finance Billing Coordinators.
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity however, there may be times where further flexibility is required.
Key responsibilities Your responsibilities will include the following: Client Cost Agreement recording and general maintenance tasks Managing CCA renewal process Audit comfort reports Client and matter opening and ongoing data support General back-up and assistance for all areas of the file maintenance Adhoc Inbox requests - bill cancellations, time transfers, bill write offs, trust and split bills Assisting Partners/PAs with Expert Billing queries and requests Ebilling - uploading invoices into various ebilling portals Skills & Experience To be successful in this role you will have: At least 2 years' experience in: A professional services environment (preferably legal) Handling high volume transactions with great accuracy and diligence A Practice Management System, ideally Aderant Expert (advantageous) Ebilling portals (advantageous) Strong analytical skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to work through high volumes with great accuracy (especially at month end) Strong communication skills A willingness to take on any task with flexibility Intermediate MS Excel (desirable) and competent with other Microsoft Office programs The Finance team The Finance team is a professional, motivated and focused team delivering sound financial advice and a flexible and practical financial and administration service to all areas of the firm.
