This is a six-month contract role offering an attractive salary package between $35 - $38 plus super per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial administrative support, ensuring smooth operation of all finance matters.
Six-month contract role with competitive salary package Dynamic and supportive working environment Opportunity to utilise and enhance your financial administration skills What you'll do: As a Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include providing comprehensive financial administrative support, ensuring accurate processing and recording of company's payroll, preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports, assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings, supporting other teams with various administrative tasks, and maintaining an orderly financial filing system. Your ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail will be key to your success in this role.
Provide comprehensive financial administrative support within the team Ensure accurate processing and recording of company's payroll Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings Support other teams with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.) Maintain orderly financial filing system What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Finance Administrator position brings proven experience in a similar role along with strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and financial data analysis. Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero is essential. Excellent mathematical skills, familiarity with financial and statistical concepts, outstanding organisational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail are also required. Your ability to connect with others, understand their needs, and work collaboratively towards shared goals will set you apart.
