ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Administrator is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes across various company sectors. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring diligent administration of international touring and performance reconciliations, international tax processes, digital and physical music distribution, royalty and publishing revenue administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Account Reconciliation: Execute timely and accurate reconciliation of all accounts, ensuring financial records are consistently updated and aligned.End-of-Month (EOM) and End-of-Financial-Year (EOFY) Support: Collaborate in the reconciliation and reporting processes for EOM and EOFY, across activities including touring, distribution, royalties, inventory and banking. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing insights and analyses to support decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Accounts Payable and Receivable Administration: Administer the invoicing, payment processing, and collections for accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are conducted efficiently and accurately.Payroll Administration: Support payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely employee payments while adhering to compliance requirements and relevant regulations.General Administration: Undertake a variety of administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as needed to support the finance team and enhance operational efficiency.What We're Looking For Strong understanding of business and commercial principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero).Experience with inventory management software, Cin7 is desired but not essential. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a finance or bookkeeping role.Why Join Us?
