We at Chandler Macleod are seeking a Finance Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our client's team to handle the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administrative tasks.
Our client is a South Australian, family-owned business and this role will be in Wallaroo with the opportunity to work hybrid after the initial month of training.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaison with customers and suppliers Liaison with the Manager on general matters relating to finance Data entry into the Sybiz financial program Monthly invoicing of jobs Attending to company insurance requirements and coordinating insurance claims Work and liaison with external accountant Assist key stakeholders to address general queries and ad hoc analysis as requested.
Accounts Receivable Finance Preparations - BAS/Fuel Tax/Bank Reconciliations Other duties as appropriate to the position
Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Valid driver's licence.
3+ years of experience in a finance and bookkeeping related role.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Able to use and pick up accounting programs easily (Sybiz) Attention to detail and accuracy.
Customer service skills and genuine ability to interact with customers, staff members and other business associates in a professional and caring manner Ensure all invoices and financial reports are accurate and submitted on time.
Aim for zero errors in financial data reporting.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
