With new projects and developments around the corner, we need an additional Finance/Administration Officer to assist in maintaining and improving our admin and finance operations.
The Role The Murchison Shire is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Finance/Administration Officer. This isn't just about finance and administrative tasks; it's an opportunity to shape the efficiency, transparency, and compliance of our organisation.
Your data entry, administration, and customer service skills are prized assets that will be fostered. In this role, you'll provide outstanding support to internal and external stakeholders, making a significant impact beyond administrative tasks. Your role will include some of the following responsibilities:

Base 76 hours per fortnight plus TOIL provisions.Full Time Annual Salary $61,600 - $67,000 per annum. Range depends on qualifications and experience.Council provides superannuation at 11.5% plus a voluntary Council co-contribution up to 5%.An unfurnished, modern, air-conditioned residence is available for the position.The Shire meets all costs associated with power, water, and gas utilities. Home internet services with an allocation of data and Foxtel services at a reduced cost also form part of the package. A free freight service from Geraldton operates weekly.The Murchison Shire has an active community garden, museum, events calendar, and sports club providing facilities that would not be expected from a "Shire with no Town."
