We now have a fantastic opportunity for a
Senior Contracts Administrator
to join our team working on a 2/1 fly in fly out roster.
This is an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to work on a large concrete infrastructure project in WA.
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager and as part of a supportive commercial team, this role will be responsible for evaluation and administration of the head contract and subcontracts/supply chain on the project, provide technical support and Contracts Administrator Management.
Your Role
Ensuring Head and Subcontract compliance with regards to contractual provisions and notice time frames
Updating the maintenance of accurate registers (Procurement, Commercial Clarification, Correspondence, Variation, Site Instruction, Extension of Time Claim)
Understanding tender strategy with regards to Procurement/supply chain engagement
Involved in preparation and issuing of RFQ documentation including all related attachments/information and timeframes required for issue of documentation
Compiling quantity take-off /bills of materials for packages
Raising Purchase Orders based on Contract Values and chase up approvals from relevant stakeholders
Vendor Engagement from quotation to approval and the execution of agreements
Reviewing Progress Claims / Invoices as submitted by Vendors and ensure timely response to Payment Claims / payment of invoices as required under the Agreements
Inputting Head Contract Reporting requirements including: QMR, Free Issued Commodities registers, Progress Claim Register, Cash Flow
Issuing of relevant notifications against issue of revised drawings/scope of Works or Technical requirements
Compiling and Submit Progress Claims including substantiation documentation
Compiling and Submit Variations / Extension of Time Claims
Accurate recordkeeping, ensuring Dayworks, Claim Substantiation documentation, Variation Documentation (invoices and delivery notes) etc.
are processed
Raising Commitments and identifying the effect of commitments on forecasting
Identifying costs related to Variations of works
Understanding of Critical Path and effects of Variations/Change in works on Programme Critical Path
To be successful, you will have the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering -
Ideal
Demonstrated experience in a similar position in a Construction / Civil environment
Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and administer contracts and subcontracts
Ability to correctly interpret and advise on contractual matters
Solid understanding of cost control and reporting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
