ABOUT THE ROLE:
We have a vacancy for an HSE Advisor for a Client working on an Iron Ore Minesite. This is an ongoing Temp-Perm role working an 8:6 roster flying in and out of Perth. As the Project commencement is in August; we are looking to place someone ASAP to get familiar with processes ahead of commencement on site.
DUTIES:
Actively engage with management and workers to drivee continual improvement and visibility to safety, ensuring all risks are appropriately identified and managed
Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure that safety walk throughs are undertaken, monitoring of task risk assessments (including JHA, Take 5's, etc)
Actively promote a positive culture of healthy lifestyle choices and safe working practicing
Working with the Client to ensure that both Company and Client policies are upheld
Ensuring relevant safety registers and risk assessments are monitored and maintained to reflect the Client and company legislative responsibilities
Providing advice, support & assistance in conducting assessments, inspections and monitoring compliance with the Client health & safety procedures and policies
Other safety duties as required
SKILLS & FURTHER INFO:
Minimum Cert IV in HSE
Must have worked in a similar Mining/Civil Environment for 5 years as a HSE Advisor
Working 12 hour days
Commencement of Temp pay rate of $85per hour
Salary up to $149,000K + Superannuation
MyOSH, 5 wisemen, relevant HSE program understanding
