$90k -110K salary plus Super - Permanent Full Time Employment
Provide breakfast, crib lunch, desserts or dinner service for residents on site (be able to work both night shift and dayshift on a rotating roster)
Ensure food presentation, product presentation and meal service are to Sirrom standards
Work within budgeted food costs
Maintain minimal food wastage
Prepare and serve meals according to the menu and Sirrom Guidelines in line with client requirements
Maintain a strict health and hygiene standards and systems in the kitchen
We're looking for candidates with:
At least 2 years of experience working in remote mine-site villages or workforce camps.
Hands-on experience with bulk catering, including bistro and buffet-style service.
Ability to lead a team, manage utilities, and deliver high-quality food and service.
Supportive leadership, mentoring, and coaching for kitchen staff.
Strong skills in food costing, budgeting, ordering, and stock control.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Ability to maintain strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Friendly and considerate attitude to promote a positive work environment.
To be considered, you must have or be willing to obtain:
Chef Trade Certificate - Australian Trade Qualification (Minimum of Cert III in Commercial Cookery or higher)
Food Safety for Supervisor's Certificate (desirable)
Proof of current Right to Work in Australia
National Police Check - no more than 1 month old
To be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening
White Card(advantageous)
Standard S11 certificate (advantageous)
COAL BOARD MEDICAL (advantageous)
ISI induction (advantageous)
4wd certificate (advantageous)
