Reporting to the Service Supervisor, in this role you will be part of a National team of Field Service technicians providing a prompt and effective service to customers within the Water, Power, Petrochemical and other associated industries.In this role you will identify faults, repair, test, and modify actuators in the field, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associated retrofit adaptation of components, pedestals, and drive shafts, and complete accurate and technical site visit reports for each job.
You will also be required to assist in our repair, overhaul, and production workshop on a regular basis.This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can think logically for troubleshooting issues and has the willingness to travel extensively with overnight stays included.Qualifications

Trade qualified.
NSW Licensed Electrician with EEHA endorsement (EEHA preferred but not essential).Experience post-apprenticeship in a practical engineering environment, preferably in a field-based role.Proficient Microsoft Office user i.e.
Outlook, Word, Excel.Required to attend training courses to attain, however not limited to, Confined Space, Working at Heights, and First Aid Competence.
There will also be a requirement to carry out customer inductions, medicals, and inoculations.Able and willing to meet an extensive travel commitment.
A full valid driver's license is required.Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems.Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical, and fluid power theories.Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools.The Successful Candidate Will Be Someone Who:Is focused on delivering results and meeting customer expectations.Easily establishes good relationships with customers and staff; relates well to people at all levels.
