We are on the hunt for a Field Service Fitter to join our award-winning team in Townsville, supporting our customer's fleets of Caterpillar equipment.
Ideally, you will possess considerable experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery.
This is a Permanent, Full-time role working Monday to Friday:
As a Field Service Fitter, you will:
Provide maximum satisfaction to our customers by ensuring all maintenance and repairs are carried out to the highest possible standard.Research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions, and specifications.Take all reasonable steps to ensure that assigned tasks are free of faulty workmanship assuring quality in the finished product.Ensure repairs are carried out using the appropriate control guidelines to ensure that rework jobs do not occur.Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within required target times.Ensure that the customer is part of the decision process on large dollar value item repair or replacement and is kept informed of all matters in relation to the job, including job progress.Support the sale of genuine parts, and when requested, give guidance and advice to the customer on the supply of genuine parts.Why Hastings Deering?
