We have offices across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.The opportunityAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be a crucial liaison between our customers and our technical teams. Your role will involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues that our customers encounter with our products. You have the chance to work on-site collaborating directly with clients to execute installation, service, repairs, and testing of equipment used in biomedical and medical diagnostics, which would include:Medical gas systemsPatient monitoringMicroscopes used for surgeryLaboratory and medical researchDigital imaging systemsHistology-specimen preparation systemsThis role is based in our Perth (Osborne Park) office; however, it requires day-to-day travel as well as occasional overnight stays.ResponsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for:Conducting routine preventative maintenance, safety & performance testing, and area testing functions of medical equipment within hospitals, vet clinics, medical centres, and more.Attending service breakdown call-out requests.Maintaining timely and accurate administrative records of all service work.Providing quality customer service to ensure continued customer satisfaction.Assisting in the training of fellow technicians where required.About youThe right person will be able to demonstrate/have experience with:Trade certificate in Electronics or Instrumentation, or equivalent.Minimum 3 years' experience in Biomedical service and/or Scientific Instrumentation.Strong fault-finding and mechanical/electronic aptitude.Analytically minded with strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to travel interstate.What's in It for you:Join an established, reputable, and supportive organisation.Vehicle allowance & fuel card plus company mobile phone.5 weeks leave after 5 years of service.On-site parking.Work alongside a dedicated, collaborative team in a dynamic and culture-focused work environment.
