About the role We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our well-established Sales team. The role will be responsible for developing business opportunities through new products and new accounts in the domestic Hardware, Industrial, and Electronics markets. The purpose of this role will be to represent and promote our products and services to customers to grow sales.
The role will be based in Melbourne, VIC and will report to the Field Sales Manager. There will be a requirement for travel both intra and interstate with this role.
Responsibilities include Plan and develop strategies to target additional sales. Develop strategic business relationships.In conjunction with the National Account Managers, assist with developing and executing joint business plans, forecasts, and objectives.Inform customers of new products and price movements and maintain contact to suit the customer's requirements in stock control and reordering.Provide creative input and ideas to Marketing gleaned from the sales team, direct customers and consumers. Includes input into corporate displays, trade shows and travelling road shows.To work proactively and maintain a high profile of professionalism with all customers.To cover the geographic territory on behalf of Apex Tool Group.You will have A valid Driver's LicenseDemonstrated skills and experience in sales relationships.Strategic planning, market analysis and new product realisation skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office platform and computer use.Highly developed time management skills.Territory Management experience.A high level of interpersonal and communication skills.Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted in January.
