With its head office in Melbourne and regional offices around Australia, ARC works under contract to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) licensing businesses and individuals working with environmentally damaging gasses under the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989 and Regulations 1995.In addition to issuing Refrigerant Handling Licences and Refrigerant Trading Authorisations to the Businesses that employ them, ARC delivers compliance and education services to the refrigeration and air conditioning industries in both the Stationary (building) and automotive sectors.About the roleField Officers play a vital part in delivering ARC's Compliance and education services, and in supporting and advising the licence and authorisation holders. The Field officer's main role is to undertake Permit Condition Checks and Education Visits, along with reporting activities in accordance with the Relevant Acts/Regulations and Policies.The role will involve travel the home-state from time to time. Occasional travel may be required in other States.A competitive salary package will be offered to the suitable applicant based on qualifications, skills and experience, along with the opportunity to work in an exciting and challenging field.Please note, a 6-month probation period applies to this position.
