About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead civil construction projects focused on the asset management and upgrades of underground services.
This role involves overseeing the installation and maintenance of utilities such as power, telecommunications, and other underground services.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while effectively managing resources and stakeholder expectations.
A key aspect of this role will be managing the Project P&L, ensuring financial targets are met and closely monitoring variances in project costs, timelines, and scope.

This is a great opportunity for current Project Managers looking for new challenges or Senior Project Engineers who are ready to step up into a full project management role.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage civil construction projects, focusing on the installation and upgrades of underground services Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and plans Monitor project progress and resource allocation, including plant and equipment Identify and manage project risks to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Build and maintain strong customer relationships Coordinate construction teams and subcontractors to ensure overall compliance Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders Manage project documentation, including reports and communication with clients Perform other project-related duties as required Key Criteria:
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior- Lead Engineer in civil construction with underground services, NBN, or Telco cable experience.
Strong leadership and organisational skills Proficient in project management tools and methodologies Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively and lead a diverse team Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Experience managing budgets, P&L #J-18808-Ljbffr
