Right at Home provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our Northern Rivers team. We are currently recruiting for a Community Homecare worker to join our Northern Rivers team. The role: This role involves travelling between client's homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
Duties and responsibilities may include: Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparationSocial support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointmentsSupporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progressParticipating in staff meetings and attending training as requiredPerforming work under the supervision of the Care CoordinatorServices are generally between the hours of 6am-6pm Monday to FridayWhat you will need: Australian Federal Police ClearanceCurrent CPR / First Aid CertificateNDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Current Australian Driver's LicenceReliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)Smartphone with internet accessWhat we offer: Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyleVaried work supporting a diverse range of customersAbility to work independentlyTraining & development opportunities (including free access to our online learning tools & programs)Access to our free Employee Assistance ProgramStaff recognition programsOngoing support and advice from experienced, friendly, local office staffAward: SCHADS (Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services)Next steps: Our website, rightathome.com.au, is full of information on how we can assist and explains why Right at Home provides the Right Care, Right at Home.
