About the role
As an integral member of our team, you will contribute and provide leadership to the development and delivery of units at undergraduate and graduate levels. You will also be expected to contribute to the Institute's research course, engagement with the wind energy industry locally and globally, and administrative functions.
You will:
Undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students; Provide academic leadership in wind energy; Lead policy, strategic and planning advice regarding wind energy within the engineering discipline; Engage with industry, government, and community groups in support of wind energy. About you
You will work as part of the Institute's team of academic and administrative staff. You will possess proven educational, research, and professional experience and seek to embed long and short-term research strategies for the Institute within the strategic framework of the University and in accordance with its mission. You will be a creative thinker and avid problem-solver, who possesses initiative, innovation, and a can-do attitude.
You will possess demonstrated:
Commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching, and a good teaching record in electrical engineering and related fields; Exemplary record of contributions to teaching and learning, including the development of contemporary teaching materials for subjects; Record of wind energy research with an emerging international reputation; Strong record of industry engagement. All University positions delivering education and/or services to children must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). Please refer to the position description for WWCC requirements.
