About this opportunity At REMMIE, we're hiring our first designer to bring our vision to life. You'll manage the entire design process from concept to product, working with Creative Director Riley and a small team. Responsibilities include researching trends, selecting fabrics, maintaining brand identity, creating mood boards, designing collections, and overseeing production. Responsibilities Create daily content (paid and organic) for Instagram Reels, Stories, Feed Posts Reach out and work with creators and influencers to produce content. Manage outsourced models, influencers, photographers and build a network of local content creators. Collaborate with the team, talent and photographers in creating organic content. Stay ahead of fashion trends, pop culture, and social media shifts to steer our content strategy. Engage with our community by responding to all DMs and comments. Assist with capturing content at photoshoots and events Requirements Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field Highly creative with strong garment knowledge Experience in product fittings A portfolio of past work Proficient in design software (CAD), Photoshop, and Illustrator Able to work in a fast-paced environment Good understanding of textiles and garment construction An understanding of our competitors A love for fashion A keen sense of current trends and what's cool Understanding of our customers and their preferences Responsibilities Design unique styles from sketches to production Assist with print and artwork for designs Create mood boards and forecast fashion trends Participate in weekly fittings and make sample adjustments Collaborate with team members and the creative director on projects Communicate with factories about new styles, trims, and fabrics Help develop full collections well in advance of launch dates
