Duties:Maintain farm operations, and the school farm as an educational resource, whilst integrating student practical training into normal farm operations through the demonstration of skills and techniques relating to the farm industry.
Undertake a range of functions and tasks associated with the routine maintenance and daily operation of the school farm, including tasks requiring skills obtained through training and experience.
Period of Appointment:3 February 2025 to 19 December 2025
Hours per fortnight:44.1 hours per fortnight
Minimum Requirements:The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered.
A regulated activity is a child-related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014.
This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)Application Process:Electronic submission of application is preferred.
