BackTrack Youth Works in Armidale is seeking an experienced and passionate Farm Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively delivering high standard project management and farm management.Job Title: Farm ManagerJob Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively delivering high standard project management and farm management.Responsibilities:Project Manage all operations and projects of the Cubba Cubbah Farm in conjunction with BackTrack programs and Social Enterprise.Develop and implement a management plan for day-to-day operational aspects of stock and property management.Support the development of a 100-year vision for Cubba Cubbah in alignment with the vision for BackTrack.Work closely with the BackTrack team and take the lead role in coordinating the input from external technical advice when required and may at times lead advisory committees.Exercise foresight in relation to farm needs and make recommendations to BackTrack's Senior Leadership Team.Identify and create opportunities for young people to be actively engaged on the farm, while collaborating with BackTrack program managers to develop and implement an annual plan that maximizes the use of the Cubba Cubbah property for training and community activities, fostering positive community perceptions of BackTrack.Develop and implement a Farm Management Plan covering all operational aspects at Cubba Cubbah including maintenance of all farm equipment and facilities.Required:Demonstrated experience in operational and business administration and/or related fields or related trade qualifications.Full working rights within Australia.Current NSW Working with Children Check.Current driver's license (preferably manual).Ability to work in Armidale, NSW.Applications close 17 October 2024.
