A place to make a difference: In this full-time, permanent position, you'll work within a case management framework in an outreach role, providing support to individuals who are experiencing domestic, family or sexual violence.
Based in the Mount Isa region, you'll work flexible hours between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and will report to the Team Leader.
Ideally, the role is full time (38 hours per week), though we're also open to candidates who would prefer casual or part time work.
You will make a difference by: Providing holistic case management, delivering support to vulnerable and disadvantaged clients and supporting relationships for favourable client outcomesEnsuring the voices of children and young people are heardIdentifying strengths, establishing goals for the program and reviewing client progress towards these goalsPromoting skills which increase health, safety and developmentA place to feel valued: You're an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting families within a child centred, strengths-based framework.
Importantly, you have a strong understanding of the impact of trauma on children and their families and you're keenly aware of the additional impacts and barriers experienced by Indigenous families.
